The data pivot is used to graphically display all the results at once for a given dependency network when the knowledge base is connected to a database.

  - The Cascades knowledge base is opened
  - The knowledge base is connected to a database by opening a database configuration file
  - The Potentially acid deposition impacted dependency network is opened
  - The data pivot is opened for Potentially acid deposition impacted

  * clicking on a column header changes the sort order of the results
  * the dropdown menu controls which field from the database is displayed
