This screencast shows how to create and use mnemonic constants in NetWeaver2.

• Mnemonic constants are handy to use instead of hard-coded numbers because they are self-documenting and let others change their values without editing the knowledge base.
• Mnemonic constants are created automatically whenever you use a text string that is not a number in a situation that requires a number.
• Mnemonic constant values can be set or changed by:
  1. Open a data list window.
  2. Switch to the “k” tab.
  3. Edit the mnemonic constant's value.
