  • Accept changes - icon is visible if edits have been made. If the topic's name is changed it will be verified that the new name does not exist before the change is made.
  • Cancel current edits and restore to the originals.

The last three columns are in-place editors for:

  • Topic name
  • Topic hyperlink - A hyperlink can be tested by double clicking the hyperlink's text.
  • Topic hint

Spell Checking

The topic name and hint in-place editors both incorporate automatic spell checking if ISpell is installed.

1)
A hyperlink is a connection to external information. It is represented as a typical URL and can refer to a web-based or file-based document. When a hyperlink button is pressed or an internal jump to hyperlink command is run, NetWeaver attempts to launch your default browser to the hyperlink.
2)
The hint is a brief description of the topic. In the case of data links it should be the question to be asked to elicit the data.
